REWIND: Pixies - 'Head On'

A classic Pixies track from a Pixies album I've never owned a copy of. Since I bought the rest of the band's albums from car boot sales and charity shops, I wouldn't be too surprised if I find a dirt cheap copy of 'Trompe Le Monde' somewhere soon. 

When I first heard 'Head On', I thought to myself "Hmm, that song sounds very familiar". Then I learned why: because it was originally written and recorded by the Jesus And Mary Chain on their 1989 album 'Automatic'. Which version do I like best? I can't decide!

Wouldn't it have been great if the Mary Chain returned the favour and covered a Pixies number? With both bands now reunited, there's still time!
